I've worked in many different industries, such as professional services, health care, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and logistics. Each has benefited greatly from my leadership experience through rapid growth and change. I lead by example - building an environment where the best ideas are heard, peers establish trust through consistent integrity and ethics, and all individuals are held accountable to the organization's success.

If I'm doing my job, I'm not the smartest person in the room when it comes to the planning of a tactical, successful plan. However, my prior experiences in software development, infrastructure, data and analytics, project management, and service delivery give me a wonderful vantage point when weighing options available, guiding conversations, and translating the technical to a broader audience.

We all have the challenging duty to do more with less. This is why it's critically important that every cycle of effort and investment is in pursuit of the broader goal. I have a long history of successfully connecting a broad, strategic vision down through to each and every role within the organization. Each project and effort is understood how it influences this vision - which greatly helps larger organizations prioritize efforts and all employee partners feel their contribution toward the organization's success.

No, I'm not suggesting anarchy. It's critical to understand established frameworks and guidance from NIST, ISO, ITIL, and others when it comes to building out tried-and-true practices for a successful system or environment. It's also critical to remember that not everything in every organization fits into these exact molds. In order to know when you should vary from these methods as needed for your business, it's imperative that you know and understand the implications of them. I empower individuals to think outside the box and remember that one size most certainly does not fit all.
